Grading

Shells are graded as follows:

GEM	Shells without blemish or flaw, shells are adult and of average size.
F+G	Shells with a natural minor blemish or flaw that in no way detracts from the beauty of the specimen, shells are adult and average size.
F++	Shells with a minor but noticeable blemish that dose not detract from the beauty of the specimen, shells are adult and average size.
F+	Shells with growth lines and nacre blemishes. These shells display well and represent good value for the specie.
FINE	Shells with chip, juvenile or fresh dead.

Any shell we feel falls in between the above categories will have further description.
